The First Tuesday event is a global non-profit network, founded in 1998 in London, England, managing to manage millions of dollars for investment in projects in different countries. Its objective is to promote networking through networking. It also promotes the development of entrepreneurship.

The main theme of First Tuesday Panama 2016 was “Search for Investment“. Guests spoke about their experiences in seeking investment for their ventures. They included Ytzvan Mastino, from Triptable; Andrés Tarté, from Ecópolis; Cristóbal Cortés from Degusta and Sebastián Mendoza, president of Fundación Ideas Maestras.

The event opened with a presentation by Banesco, where the presenters talked about the processes, they carry out internally to promote innovation.

The important thing that came out of the ideas shared by these guests is that investment is a crucial element for the growth of all entrepreneurship. More than the idea, investors look at the team behind the idea before making the decision to invest or not.
